Dr Bonnie Fergie (MBBS, FACD) is an experienced Australian board-certified dermatologist based in Sydney.

Having entered specialist dermatology training early in her medical career, Bonnie brings over a decade of clinical dermatology practice, helping tens of thousands of patients with skin impacted by the unforgiving Australian conditions.

Originally from country Western Australia, Bonnie is sought after among the patient and referring doctor community for her expertise and kind patient manner.

Bonnie’s approach emanates from her understanding that the health and appearance of one’s skin is a deeply personal journey. Her advice and treatment are grounded in personalised and precise evidence-based care.

Bonnie is the founder of new Australian skincare brand Bon Elliot, launching in March 2026, bringing her informed perspective on how the skin’s physiology defines it outer form.

EXPERIENCE

Dr Bonnie Fergie is a fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.

Bonnie has extensive experience in medical and surgical dermatology with special interest in skin cancer, rosacea, acne, eczema, psoriasis, laser and hair loss, combined with a deep knowledge of skincare and daily skin management.

Following her medical doctor internship and residency, Bonnie completed 4 years of specialist dermatology training at leading teaching hospitals in New South Wales including St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, The Skin Hospital Sydney, Canberra Hospital, The John Hunter Hospital and The Orange Base Hospital.

Bonnie is a published author and reviewer in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at national and international dermatology conferences, including recent research into the microbiome, barrier and antioxidant repair response of the skin.

Bonnie is an International Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatologists and Member of the Women’s Dermatologic Society.
